FAITH Founder Mr. John P. Calamos hosted the Founders of FAITH Endowment annual Meeting in Chicago at the National Hellenic Museum. As a Founder of FAITH Endowment and as President of the National Hellenic Museum, Mr. Calamos graciously hosted the Founders at the Meeting in the morning and then welcomed Founders, spouses and friends to a wonderful luncheon and informative presentation about the National Hellenic Museum.
The Founders enjoyed private tours and previews of the National Hellenic Museum’s new exhibitions: The Misunderstood Monsters of Greek Mythology, The Street is My Gallery, and The Periklean Akropolis. On Friday evening, Faith Founders and spouses were guests at the Art Institute of Chicago for a private dinner celebrating the opening of “Heaven and Earth” and honoring the Jaharis Family for their support of the exhibition. Guests enjoyed a private preview of the exhibition which featured Byzantine treasures from the Benaki Museum as well as other private Greek collections and museums. On Saturday evening, John and Mae Calamos hosted a dinner in honor of the Benaki Museum at the Hotel Arista. Founders as well as other friends of the Benaki Museum came together for a beautiful evening of wonderful food and great company to learn more about the Benaki Museum.
