FAITH
: An Endowment for Orthodoxy and Hellenism promotes an understanding of the Greek Orthodox faith, Hellenism, and excellence through a series of high quality, innovative educational programs and cultural initiatives.

Promoting Hellenism, supporting the Greek Orthodox faith and celebrating excellence in education for future generations:

  • Supporting programs and initiatives to educate and raise awareness about Hellenism and the Greek Orthodox faith throughout the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America and the world.
  • Challenging young, talented and intelligent Greek Americans to attain (and sustain) excellence by offering a series of merit-based college scholarships to the most promising young leaders of the Hellenic and Greek Orthodox community.
  • Partnering with top academic institutions (such as The Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University, Fulbright Foundation of Greece, Hellenic College Holy Cross Press, Patriarchal Institute of Thessaloniki) to support the advancement of Hellenism and the Greek Orthodox faith as well scholarly exchanges and dialogues between Greece, the United States and worldwide.
  • Granting support for initiatives and projects that showcase the legacy of Hellenism and the Greek Orthodox faith with the world. FAITH has generously provided lead donor support to projects and events symbolizing the history of our community such as the Rebuilding of the St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church at Ground Zero, The Imvros School, and the Patriarchal Institute for Patristic Studies.
  • Enriching the classrooms of Greek Language programs and parish schools nationwide by underwriting the production of multimedia resources and the publication and distribution of new textbooks to update and enhance the classrooms for our youngest children and their teachers.
  • Providing financial aid grants for young people to travel to Greece to learn more about their Hellenic heritage and Greek Orthodox faith through Ionian Village summer camp. For over the last decade, the Endowment has underwritten partial and full travel grants to young Greek Americans who otherwise would not have been able to attend.
