Dear Friends,
We have reached the end of yet another productive year providing innovative educational programming and cultural initiatives for the next generation of Greek Americans. I would like to thank our Founders for their continued support of the FAITH Endowment and the enduring example of philanthropy and standard of excellence they have established within our community.
In 2018, we were pleased to welcome a new group of young leaders into our network, awarding 41 FAITH Scholarships for Academic Excellence to exemplary high school graduates from across the country. These young people are celebrated members of their classrooms, teams and school clubs and devoted supporters of their parishes and communities.

We are encouraged to learn that previous FAITH Scholars continue their pattern of excellence on their college campuses and in their professional associations, research labs and internships. We were thrilled to award 53 FAITH Scholarships for Excellence in STEM continuation awards to these young men and women who aspire to use their future innovations in the STEM field to advance the Greek and Hellenic community.
In our other programs, we once again supported young people to live their cultural identity and faith through supporting the FAITH Travel Grants to Ionian Village and the FAITH-St. John Chrysostom Awards.
In closing, I would once again like to express my sincerest appreciation to our Founders for their generous support of these programs. More than ever, young Greek Americans are looking to the leaders of our community for inspiration and guidance as they step out into leadership roles and positions of influence in their campus and future careers.
Sincerely,
Peggy Sotirhos Nicholson
Executive Director
