Dr. Andre Dimitriadis †

(1940 - 2013)

Andre C. Dimitriadis, PhD served as the Chief Executive Officer of LTC Properties Inc., a healthcare real estate investment Trust, since 1992 until March 2007. Dr. Dimitriadis served as the Chief Financial Officer of several companies throughout his career and oversaw numerous financial transactions, including initial public offerings, restructuring and debt refinancing.

He founded LTC Properties Inc., in 1992 and served as its President from 2000 to October 2005 and then was made Executive Chairman in 2007. He served as President of CLC Healthcare Inc. from July 2000 to December 2001 and Chief Executive Officer from 1998 to April 10, 2003. Prior to founding LTC Properties, Dr. Dimitriadis was Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Beverly Enterprises and an owner/operator of nursing facilities, from October 1989 to May 1992. From December 1984 to July 1989, he served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of American Medical Inc.

Additionally, he was Director of Magellan Health Services Inc. and served as a Director of Assisted Living Concepts Inc. from January 2002 to September 10, 2004 and Ribapharm Inc. in 2003.

Dr. Dimitriadis earned a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Robert College, Istanbul, Turkey, an M.S. in Computer Science from Princeton University and an M.B.A. and Ph.D. from New York University. He lived in California and had two daughters.
