Mr. James H. Moshovitis

James H. Moshovitis was born and raised in Washington, DC. He attended Montgomery Junior College. In his early career he focused on restaurant and real estate endeavors. However, today he is involved in managing his personal investments.

Most recently, Mr. Moshovitis was honored by the Oxi Day Foundation for his service in World War II; he served in the U.S. Navy as a radioman from 1943 to 1946. He was involved in action at Pearl Harbor, Iwo Jima, Saipan, Okinawa, Guam, Tulagi and Manila Bay. Mr. Moshovitis was also on the first ship that arrived in Tokyo Bay on V-J Day.

In addition to being one of the Original Founders of the Faith Endowment, Mr. Moshovitis is also a member of the Leadership 100 and an Archon of The Order of Saint Andrew the Apostle. He supports many philanthropic causes for the Greek Orthodox Church, as well as many cultural, medical, and educational institutions including The National Gallery, The Fuqua School of Business at Duke University, Medical University of South Carolina and American Associates of the St. Catherine Foundation to name a few.

Mr. Moshovitis is married to Zoe Moshovitis and they have two children and four grandchildren.
