Elaine Jaharis was born and raised in the Chicago area. She received a BA in Political Science from Northwestern University and an MBA in Finance and Marketing from the University of Chicago, Booth School of Business and worked in the construction lending industry.
Mrs. Jaharis is a supporter of educational, Hellenic, and cultural charitable organizations. In addition to being a Founder of FAITH, she is also a member of Leadership 100, and served on the Archdiocesan Council as Chair of the Youth Committee until 2017. She also served on the Steering Committee for St. George Greek School and is a member of other educational committees. She is currently a member of the Committee for Ancient Mediterranean Art at the Art Institute of Chicago and as of January 2021, serves as President of the FAITH Endowment.
She is married to Dr. Steven Jaharis and they have three children.
